Heavy duty vibrating plates ideal for trade use
Our petrol forward/reverse plate compactors are ideal for completing a wide range of compaction work on site. These vibrating plates have a compact design and excellent ergonomics for ease of use, low hand arm vibration and manoeuvrability. They have a 400mm plate, a robust petrol engine and, as these wacker plates are forward and reverse units, they feature a hydraulic gear shift mechanism that can be used for travelling in both directions. These plate compactors can be used for compacting soil, stone and hardcore before laying a concrete slab, for compacting asphalt during roadworks, for foundations, and backfilling in pipe trenches. You can book a petrol forward / reverse plate compactor hire online or over the phone and then either collect it from your nearest depot at the start of the hire or we can deliver it to you.
We have a range of accessories available for purchase, including super grip work gloves, ear defenders and Personal Protection Packs. Our Personal Protection Packs include safety goggles, safety gloves, dust mask and ear plugs. You can add these to your order during checkout.

From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.
If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.
YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.
If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
Hire Shield is a subrogation waiver covering the first £50 (Standard) or £200 (Premium) of the £1,700 hired-in plant claim excess. It is included in every booking. The charge is calculated at checkout.
