Our Timberwolf petrol wood chippers are high quality pieces of equipment, capable of dealing with tree branches up to 3" (75mm) in thickness. These petrol garden shredders are powerful enough for professional use yet easy enough for domestic DIY use. These garden shredders are perfect for professional gardeners, landscapers, grounds people and contractors, as well as DIY users at home.
These garden shredders can get through up to 0.75 tonnes of wood per hour. The 177mm fully hardened blade breaks the branches down into much smaller chips, which are a lot easier to manage. The chips can be disposed of, spread out over an area of land or composted. These garden mulchers will feed the material through on their own once you have inserted the branches into the hopper. Feed the branches (butt end first) into the feed funnel and release it before it engages the rotor. Some pieces of wood may move around significantly during chipping, and the wood is drawn into the cutting blade quite quickly, so be ready for this and stand well clear. For convenience, these garden chippers can be tilted on to their wheels and moved around the garden or site quickly and easily. The side chute folds up to reduce the width for storage and transportation.
Ensure that you wear appropriate safety equipment whilst using the machine, including a hard hat, safety visor, heavy-duty gloves and ear defenders. Please note: These garden shredders are designed for chipping dry branches up to 3" (75mm) in diameter. They cannot be used to chip branches less than 5mm in diameter. Wet branches, greenery and brambles should not be put through the chipper as they can lead to jamming. Conifers and leylandeii should never be fed into this machine. If you need a larger chipper, we can also supply 6" Diesel Road Tow Chippers.
