Our 400mm diesel forward / reverse plate compactors are heavy duty pieces of compaction equipment ideal for a range of applications on site. Whether you need to compact soil, stone or hardcore before laying a concrete slab, compact asphalt during roadworks, or backfill in pipe trenches, these vibrating plate compactors are up to the job. These fordward & reverse wacker plates have a compact design, combined with excellent ergonomics and low hand arm vibration, to reduce operator fatigue, improve manoeuvrability and productivity. They are easy to control and extremely well made, with a 400mm vibrating plate, tough diesel engine, hydraulic gear shift mechanism, belt tensioners and a self priming hydraulic system. You can book a diesel forward / reverse plate compactor hire online or over the phone and then either collect it from your local depot at the start of the hire or we can deliver it to you.
We have a range of products available to purchase as accessories with the wacker plate hire, including super grip work gloves, ear defenders and Personal Protection Packs. Our Personal Protection Packs include safety goggles, safety gloves, dust mask and ear plugs. You can add these to your order during checkout.

Exactly what was needed

From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.
If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.
YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.
If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
Hire Shield is a subrogation waiver covering the first £50 (Standard) or £200 (Premium) of the £1,700 hired-in plant claim excess. It is included in every booking. The charge is calculated at checkout.
