How to Hire: We have a huge range of tools and equipment that anyone can hire – you don’t need to be a trade professional! To find what you are looking for on our website, you can browse through the product categories, use the website search box or use our LiveChat feature to ask one of our advisors for assistance in real time. Once you find the product you wish to hire, you can get a quote and book a hire online or you can call us to book a hire over the phone. Our rates are extremely competitive – you simply pay by card once you book the hire and then collect from your nearest branch or we can deliver to you.
Hire Periods: We offer competitive hire rates on tool and equipment hire. You can book a hire for one day, two days, a weekend, up to a week or longer! Some items are subject to a minimum hire period which is indicated on the product page.
Payment: Payment is made via debit or credit card when you book the hire, either online or over the phone. For some of our larger, more expensive items you may need to pay a deposit one the hire, but for most DIY products there is no deposit – you just pay the hire charge! If a deposit is required for an item, the hire charges are deducted from your deposit when the equipment is returned and the balance is refunded to you.
Damage Waiver: Accidental damage to hired equipment can result in expensive repair charges. However, for just 13% of the hire rate, we can offer damage waiver indemnity that will indemnify you against the cost of repairing the item. This charge is added to our website prices during checkout. Damage Waiver does not cover the customer for misuse, abuse or incorrect use of equipment. Damage Waiver does not cover the loss of equipment. Full terms and conditions are available on request. Please Note: We do not offer this service on our surveying equipment products.
ID: You are required to present two forms of ID when you go to store to collect your hire or when receiving delivery of a hire. One form of ID must be a photo ID (eg. a passport or driving license) and the other ID must be proof of address (eg. a utilities bill).

With a Mammoth Hire Trade Account, you simply book what you need to hire and you can manage your cash-flow effectively with our 30 day invoices.
Plant Hire: Opening a Trade Account with Mammoth Hire gives you access to one of the largest networks of plant equipment for hire in the UK. Whether you need a digger, excavator, telehandler, crane, dumper or anything else, we can help. We utilise our extensive hire network to source what you need at a great price – and we get it to you when you need it! Simply open a trade account, discuss your requirements with your Account Manager and we will be able to give you a quote for the plant hire equipment that you need.
Site Equipment Hire: As well as our plant hire network, we also have a network of site equipment and facilities partners. Whether you need site generators, lighting, toilets, welfare facilities, canteens or offices on site, we can source what you need through our partners at our negotiated rates, to get you what you need when you need it. Our fully managed site services have been developed in consultation with our customers, to offer added value. We can tailor our equipment and services to your individual requirements; simply give your Account Manager a call and let us know what you need; we will source it, arrange it and get the facilities and equipment you need delivered to your site.
How To Hire: Download our Trade Account Application Form, fill it in and return it to us to get your Trade Account opened quickly and efficiently. Once your Mammoth Hire Trade Account has been opened, you will have access to one of the largest networks of tools for hire, plant hire and site equipment and facilities hire in the country. Our dedicated team of professionals strive to achieve total customer satisfaction at all times through a combination of outstanding commitment, quality and service. Simply give your assigned Account Manager a call to discuss your hire requirements and we can provide you with a quote. Once you have booked a hire, you can collect the tools you need from your local tool hire store or we can deliver to you! We can also the deliver plant and site equipment to your site when you need it.
Payment: A Mammoth Hire Trade Account gives you and your company the convenience of a monthly credit account. Once you have downloaded the account application form, completed it and returned it to us, your account will be up and running within 24 hours (subject to status). Then you are ready to book the tools and equipment you need! Invoices are issued on a 30 day payment basis.
