An Acrow Prop can take between 700kg and 1700kg depending on the size you opt for.
How do you support a strongboy wall?
Insert the blade into the mortar space or brick hole until the blade is at least at the same depth as the rear of the brick on the leaf of the wall which is intended to be supported.
How many Acrow props do I need UK?
As a rule of thumb, 1 pair of props is usually recommended per metre of opening width.
How far apart do you put strongboys?
For wide holes on stable walls, strongboys should be placed no more than 900mm apart. For less stable structures it may be needed to position these closer together.
What sizes do Acrow props come in?
Acrow props are available in sizes 0 - size 4, differing in size and working load. Size 0 is the shortest but has the highest working load and size 4 is the longest with the lowest working load.
