Description
Acrow prop heads for supporting structures
We have strongboy hire available nationwide. These acrow prop heads fix on top of adjustable steel acrow props to support walls and beams during the fitting of lintels, RSJs, or beams. You hammer them into a raked mortar joint to support it while you remove the masonry beneath. You can hire strongboys on their own, or you can hire them along with all of the acrow props you need. You must wear all appropriate protective clothing while using strongboys and support props, including work boots, gloves, safety helmet and a dust mask. The tongue of the strongboy must be inserted into the wall at least the width of one brick, and each prop should be spaced out correctly so that they can take the weight of the load safely and effectively. Check the condition of all props and strongboys before using them. If you find or even suspect a fault, do not use them. Instead, seek a replacement. If you do not understand how to use them, then do not use them.
We can also supply acrow props in a range of sizes.
Please note: This product description and detail is based on the model we have the most stock of. Alternative brands of equivalent specification may be supplied based on location and availability.

From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.
If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.
YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.
If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
