Description
Designed to aid in the detection and tracing of underground utilities, the Radiodetection Genny4 is a signal generator that offers dual-frequency output capabilities. It is equipped with a standard 33kHz locate signal, which is commonly used, as well as the ability to transmit a second frequency specifically intended for locating smaller diameter cables like telecoms and lighting cables. Notably, the Genny4 includes a new power boost function that significantly extends the range and depth of the transmitted signal.
To effectively locate underground utilities, the Genny4 is intended to be used in conjunction with a CAT4 depth locator. When used together, these two devices form an essential equipment set for conducting land surveys prior to commencing any excavation work. Their combined functionality ensures accurate identification and mapping of underground utilities, promoting safety and efficiency in construction projects.
