Description
RIDGID 916 roll groover
We have pull down roll groover hire available nationwide. This model is the RIDGID 916. RIDGID is a reputable tool manufacturer that produces some of the finest tools available. RIDGID roll groovers are robust, hard-wearing tools that can groove tube and pipe with a huge variance in size using the appropriate roll sets. The RIDGID 916 pull down roll groover is suitable for steel and copper pipes that are between 1 ¼ and 12” to provide incredible service versatility. Pipe grooves are used to prepare separate lengths of pipe before they are joined together using secure couplings that create solid joints, this technique makes an indent without cutting or removing any material for reliable repair or retrofit. Offering incredible ease of use in tight spaces, the RIDGID 916 can be operated with just 3 ½” of clearance space for full handle rotation. With this pull down roll groover, you can create concise grooves with only 2 ¾” of exposed pipe, and there is an easy to use depth setting gauge to ensure accuracy. The depth adjustment screw is independent of the feed mechanism to allow for a more consistent groove depth. The cam-style feed handle means you can operate the roll groover with minimal effort, and it is also quick and easy to mount to compatible power units like the RIDGID 300 power drive, which is available separately. Enquire online or over the phone for a pull down roll groover hire quote. Once your hire is booked, you can arrange to collect the equipment from your local branch or organise direct delivery.
The RIDGID 300 power drive is a 110v piece of equipment, so they require a transformer, generator, or 110v power supply. 3kVA transformers, extension leads and other optional accessories are available to select during checkout.
