Our 3.4kVA petrol generators are compact, robust and reliable single phase generators, ideal for powering tools and equipment on construction sites and industrial sites, as well as on DIY jobs away from a mains power supply. These units are also great options for emergency power during a power cut.
These petrol generators have a range components which ensure their durability and their reliable performance. They are powered by a low noise Honda GX200 6.5hp four-stroke engine, and they have anti-vibration rubber mounts and a fully-welded wrap-around carry frame to guard the unit from the effects of vibration and harsh site conditions. Our 3.4kVA generators also feature a reset circuit breaker, an oil alert/low oil shutdown feature, a voltage selector switch and a brushless smooth waveform alternator. As the maintenance free alternator has low waveform distortion characteristics, these generators provide an smooth output. They are capable of providing power to varying electrical load for unlimited hours in accordance to ISO 8528-1.
These generators have three output sockets (1 x 16A 240V & 2 x 16A 115V BS4343), a 3.1 litre fuel tank and a run time of 3.6 hours on a full tank of fuel. We supply the generators with a full tank of petrol. You can book a 3.4kva generator hire online or over the phone and collect it from your local depot at the start of the hire, or we can deliver to you.
Please note: Using a generator indoors or in a confined space could cause fatal carbon monoxide poisoning. Never use a generator inside domestic premises. Only use a generator inside any industrial premises if there is suitable ventilation. Fume extraction / ventilation equipment will almost always be required.

From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.
If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.
YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.
If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
Hire Shield is a subrogation waiver covering the first £50 (Standard) or £200 (Premium) of the £1,700 hired-in plant claim excess. It is included in every booking. The charge is calculated at checkout.
