Safe working environments are a fundamental right and essential for all workers. Manual Handling Awareness training raises understanding of how to reduce the risks to your health and safety when lifting and carrying objects.
This Manual Handling Awareness training course is for everyone. Whatever industry or environment you work in, proper manual handling technique is safe and practical. Upon completion of the course, you will be able to explain what the term ‘manual handling’ refers to, how it can cause injury, and demonstrate an ability to identify hazards and assess potential risks.
We hold all courses at one of our cooperating training centres. However, we can provide this training at your premises or on-site for larger groups.

Assessment
Trainees are assessed by continuous observation throughout the day, and a theory test.
Duration
Manual handling Awareness training is a half day course.
Certification
Upon course completion, successful candidates will receive a One Stop Safety Training certificate. The certificate is valid for 3 years.

From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.
If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.
YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.
If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
Hire Shield is a subrogation waiver covering the first £50 (Standard) or £200 (Premium) of the £1,700 hired-in plant claim excess. It is included in every booking. The charge is calculated at checkout.
