Our Husqvarna 2 stroke petrol chainsaws are powerful, professional pieces of equipment designed felling and pruning trees and chopping logs. Our chainsaws for hire are the Husqvarna 545 Professional Petrol Chainsaw model. With their ground-breaking efficient design, these chain saws pack plenty of raw power for fast felling and pruning of trees and chopping of logs and wooden blocks. These petrol chain saws weigh just 4.9kg and they have a power output of 2.5kW; with a maximum power speed of 9600rpm, producing 2.69 Nm of torque. The chain size of these chainsaws is 38cm and the chain pitch is 0.8255cm. We hire these chainsaws along with a chainsaw safety kit, chain guard, a full tank of 2 stroke oil / petrol mix and 100ml of 2 stroke oil guard.
Please note: The hire charge is for the chainsaw machine. The cutting chain is not included in the hire charge – we have these available for an additional cost. Chainsaws are only available to be collected in store by the person hiring the chainsaw. An essential 15 minute competence training session is given on handover. These Husqvarna petrol chainsaws for hire are very professional and high quality chainsaws. They cost over £600 to buy so it was much better value for us to just hire a chainsaw for a couple of days than to buy one new. The service was very professional and reassuring, with a safety briefing upon handover.

Hubby hired this as he has larger one which is quiet heavy, wanted this for smaller jobs. Over the moon, for the price and what came with it, couldn't ask for better value, and does a brilliant job. Well impressed!

Well impressed. I was after something to cut the logs in the log store ready for splitting which would be quick and easy to use. This Ripped through 6 ton of hardwood logs up to 18" diameter with no problems at all. Tension on the chain loosened a little bit and the oil use wasn't as bad as my petrol chainsaw. Can't fault it.

From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.
If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.
YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.
If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
An insurance charge will be calculated at checkout. If you have proof of your own Hired-In Plant Insurance (HIPI) and wish to opt-out of the insurance charge, you can do so by booking via Live Chat.
