Our block splitter & vibrating plate hire kit allows you to hire both of these pieces of equipment together at a discounted hire rate. Whether you are a trade professional or just doing some DIY, this package deal offers great value for money and two professional pieces of equipment for completing high quality block paving work.
The block splitter supplied as part of this package deal is a Belle Maxipave manual block splitter. This block cutter is capable of cutting and trimming all common types of block paving. Featuring an extra-long lever and cam action, these block splitters are powerful and efficient pieces of equipment which facilitate high performance block splitting at a pressure ratio of 1 to 152.
The wacker plate provided in this deal is a 400mm Belle petrol plate compactor. Featuring extremely low hand-arm vibration levels, a fast travel rate and a high compaction rate, these compactor plates combine high performance and excellent usability perfectly.
The wacker plate allows you to compact the ground in preparation for laying block paving or a patio, whilst the block splitter allows you to cut the bricks or blocks accurately and effectively. We have a range of accessories available for purchase, including super grip work gloves, ear defenders and Personal Protection Packs. These packs include safety goggles, safety gloves, dust mask and ear plugs. You can add these to your order during checkout.
Please note that using petrol powered pieces of equipment indoors or in confined spaces could cause fatal carbon monoxide poisoning. Never use them inside domestic premises and only use them in other indoor situations if there is suitable ventilation and the site has been fully assessed. Mechanical extraction ventilation will almost always be required.

Splitter and Plate kit
A godsend for any landscape improvements in the home or professionally, whether it's for laying pathways or driveway or simply flattening uneven ground. It's well worth hiring the additional plate cover for running over block paving after laying. The block splitter takes all the hard work out and gives a professional finish to any DIY projects.

Brilliant for landscaping
Brilliant for small building and landscaping jobs. It is lighter than other machines on the market. Ij just make sure I compact thinner layers because i don't want to damage anything with it being hired but pretty sure it could handle anything i can throw at it. It's easy to transport and folds away nicely for storage purposes.

From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.
If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.
YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.
If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
Hire Shield is a subrogation waiver covering the first £50 (Standard) or £200 (Premium) of the £1,700 hired-in plant claim excess. It is included in every booking. The charge is calculated at checkout.
