We have hand held pokers available for hire nationwide. This portable vibrating poker is ideal for industrial, commercial, and domestic applications. A heavy-duty piece of equipment, this petrol concrete poker maximises the strength and durability of freshly-laid concrete. Pockets of air can develop in freshly-laid cement, which can compromise the density and weaken the finish. You can remove excess air and disrupt any air pockets by inserting concrete pokers into wet cement and starting the engine to produce a high-frequency vibration. This powerful, robust poker is a fast, efficient, and cost-effective way to prepare solid concrete slabs with a perfect finish. From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.
If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.
YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.
If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
Hire Shield is a subrogation waiver covering the first £50 (Standard) or £200 (Premium) of the £1,700 hired-in plant claim excess. It is included in every booking. The charge is calculated at checkout.
