This rammer is also the perfect solution for compacting cohesive soils with higher clay content, as the small plate on a trench rammer delivers the energy in a more focused and direct way compacred to a wacker plate. This method of compaction is ideal for use on clay soil, as this soil requires more direct force in order to compact it properly.
