This 4 stroke petrol trench rammer provides heavy compaction in tight spaces - it is ideal for use in trenches for backfilling, foundation work and general compaction on smaller areas of asphalt. The trench rammer has a narrow frame and handle, which make it extremely manoeuvrable and easy to use in small work areas, yet it is still a powerful piece of equipment, capable of compacting ground quickly. This rammer is also the perfect solution for compacting cohesive soils with higher clay content, as the small plate on a trench rammer delivers the energy in a more focused and direct way compacred to a wacker plate. This method of compaction is ideal for use on clay soil, as this soil requires more direct force in order to compact it properly. This compactor will fit easily in the back of a van or truck to be transported to the site. You can book a trench rammer hire online or over the phone and collect it from store or we can deliver to you. We have a range of accessories available for purchase, including super grip work gloves, ear defenders and Personal Protection Packs. These packs include safety goggles, safety gloves, dust mask and ear plugs. You can add these to your order during checkout.

From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.
If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.
YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.
If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
Hire Shield is a subrogation waiver covering the first £50 (Standard) or £200 (Premium) of the £1,700 hired-in plant claim excess. It is included in every booking. The charge is calculated at checkout.
