Course Details
Safe working environments are a fundamental right and essential for all workers. CITB Health & Safety Awareness courses are an introduction to the main issues and potential hazards when working on-site. It raises awareness of individual and employer’s responsibilities, including practical advice on ensuring a workplace is safe, and what to do if you feel someone’s well being is put at risk.
This course is for everyone taking on or working in a role within construction or civil engineering. It is a highly interactive and engaging session that utilises a range of teaching and learning techniques. You will participate in case studies, classroom discussions, group work, and presentations.

Assessment
Trainees are assessed by continuous observation throughout the day and a multiple-choice exam.
Duration
CITB Health & Safety Awareness training is a 1 day course.
Certification
Upon course completion, successful candidates will receive a CITB Site Safety Plus Certificate. The certificate is valid for 5 years.

From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.
If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.
YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.
If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
Hire Shield is included in every booking. The charge is calculated at checkout.
