This welfare unit is powered by solar panels, which helps to reduce the emissions and fuel consumption of the unit, as well as the amount of time the generator is used and the amount of noise pollution it generates. In addition, the unit is equipped with a custom-made 12-volt generator that operates quietly and has a 68-liter fuel tank. The backup generator only kicks in when the solar batteries are low, ensuring that the unit's occupants always have a comfortable place to rest.
This durable and secure trailer-mounted cabin is constructed from steel and features lockable security doors, window shutters, a 5-point deadlock system, and a hydraulic isolation switch to provide safety and security on construction sites. It is designed to withstand the most challenging and remote environments. The cabin also comes equipped with a 12-volt detachable lighting board, complete with a mounting bracket and full LED road lighting, including front and high-level markers for traffic safety.
The Armadillo XL+2 is a trailer-mounted welfare unit that is designed to be towed on public roads. It offers a range of facilities in a self-contained and secure cabin, including a canteen area that can accommodate 6 to 8 people, an office, 2 separate, private toilets, and a drying room. These facilities ensure that workers on construction or other sites have access to clean and private toilet facilities, as well as a place to wash, change, eat, and rest. The office provides a space for completing administrative tasks, and the recycled, anti-slip flooring helps to ensure safety when moving between compartments.
The Armadillo XL+2 is a fully self-contained unit, equipped with LED lighting, hot and cold running water, a chemical toilet, regulation forearm sinks, 12-volt USB and 230-volt sockets, a microwave, kettle, cool box table, and bench seating. It also has an air-blown heating system and auto-frost protection to ensure that the interior remains comfortable and usable, even in harsh weather conditions.

From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.
If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.
YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.
If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
Hire Shield is a subrogation waiver covering the first £50 (Standard) or £200 (Premium) of the £1,700 hired-in plant claim excess. It is included in every booking. The charge is calculated at checkout.
