Description
The Versatile Welfare Solution You Need
The Armadillo Eco is a highway-towable welfare unit that provides self-contained and secure facilities for construction or work sites. It includes a canteen area that can accommodate up to 6 people, a separate toilet, and a separate changing and drying room. This unit ensures that everyone on site has access to amenities such as toilets, washing facilities, a place to change, and areas for eating and resting.
The Armadillo Eco is self-sufficient, with features such as LED lighting, hot and cold running water, a chemical toilet, regulation forearm sinks, a microwave, 12v sockets, a table, and seating. It also has a heating system and auto-frost protection to maintain comfortable conditions, even in harsh weather.
This welfare unit is powered by solar energy, which reduces emissions, fuel consumption, generator usage, and noise pollution. It has a backup generator that runs quietly and only kicks in when needed, with a 68-liter fuel tank. This ensures that the unit always has a comfortable place for workers to take breaks. Solar power can typically save around £100 on fuel per week compared to traditional units.
This sturdy, towable cabin is made of steel and has lockable security doors, window shutters, a 5-point deadlocking system, and a hydraulic isolation switch to ensure safety and security on the job site. It is suitable for use in even the most remote and challenging environments.

From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.
If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.
YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.
If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
Hire Shield is a subrogation waiver covering the first £50 (Standard) or £200 (Premium) of the £1,700 hired-in plant claim excess. It is included in every booking. The charge is calculated at checkout.
If you have your own Hired-In Plant Insurance (HIPI), you'll be asked to provide proof after booking. To opt out of Hire Shield, contact us via .
