Course Details
Abrasive wheels training provides delegates with the knowledge and skills to use related equipment efficiently and safely in a working environment. The course gives you a better understanding of abrasive wheels and grinding discs, and all of the safety aspects you need to consider when working with them.
Abrasive Wheels training is for anyone who needs to use related equipment for any job on-site. It is a thorough course that covers what an abrasive wheel is, and how to select, inspect, mount, and use them in accordance with manufacturer guidance and current legislation, without the risk of personal injury, and knowing the correct PPE for the task.
We hold all courses at one of our cooperating training centres. However, we can provide this training at your premises or on-site for larger groups.

Assessment
Trainees undergo continuous observation throughout the day and theoretical and practical mounting assessments.
Duration
Abrasive Wheels training is a half day course.
Certification
Upon course completion, successful candidates will receive a One Stop Safety Training certificate. The certificate is valid for 3 years.

From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.
If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.
YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.
If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
Hire Shield is included in every booking. The charge is calculated at checkout.
