Heavy duty diesel-powered flood pumps ideal for removing muddy water
We have 80mm diesel diaphragm pumps available for hire nationwide. These machines are heavy duty water pumps, capable of removing dirty water containing mud, sludge, sand and suspended spherical solids up to 40mm from flooded areas on site.
Diaphragm pumps harness the reciprocating action of an internal diaphragm to induce a flow of water. The nitrile rubber diaphragms and check valves ensure that priming is unnecessary, and that dry running is not an issue. These dirty water pumps sit outside of the flooded area and use a suction hose to draw the water up and out of the flooded area, and a layflat delivery hose to deposit it away from the area.
You can book an 80mm diesel diaphragm pump hire online or over the phone with our hire team and then either collect it from your local depot at the start of the hire or we can deliver it to you.
Please note: The maximum suction lift that these water pumps are capable of is 8 metres, however 6 metres or less is recommended.

From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.
If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.
YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.
If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
Hire Shield is a subrogation waiver covering the first £50 (Standard) or £200 (Premium) of the £1,700 hired-in plant claim excess. It is included in every booking. The charge is calculated at checkout.
