This 800w PPR fusion socket hot plate is designed specifically for PPR socket fusion – to quickly and efficiently connect piping, up to 75mm in diameter, to a socket. Simply measure the correct welding depth on the pipe and insert the pipe and socket simultaneously into the iron hotplate guides (available in sizes up to 75mm), for the appropriate amount of time. Then remove the pipe and socket and fix the pipe firmly, straight into the socket. This is an extremely fast and simple yet reliable method of fusing piping to sockets – providing a solid, high-quality joint between the pipe and socket. Refer to the instruction manual for the correct temperature and appropriate welding depths and timings.
