Indirect heaters are safe to use externally and internally, as they are designed to exhaust fumes and all other combustion by-products. Indirect heaters only circulate clean, warm air into the intended space, using lengths of ducting. The fumes produced during combustion are expelled via a flue. You can use the EC55 indirect space heater to efficiently warm a variety of locations during colder periods. They are ideal marquee heaters and they can also be used for heating weddings, markets, halls, churches, warehouses, factories, construction sites and more.

The EC55 indirect fired diesel space heater is built to be robust and reliable, with a sleek, modern design. The main 65 litre fuel tank is an AISI 430 combustion chamber are constructed from stainless steel and can endure regular use in demanding environments. The unit is securely attached to a sturdy frame with robust wheels, which keep the chamber and tank off the ground and allow for convenient mobility. At the heart of this heavy-duty space heater is an automatic oil burner, Danfoss pump, electronic flame control, and an electrical control panel for better efficiency and ease of use.

The combustion process of indirect heaters warms the air via a heat exchange so that only clean air is blown into the intended space by the internal fan. This process makes indirect space heaters safe to use indoors, and in areas with little ventilation. All of the fumes created during combustion are dispelled separately via the integrated exhaust.

These heaters use an electricity supply to power their fan, pump and other internal workings. These units are 110v pieces of equipment, so a transformer, generator or 110v site supply will be required in order to operate them. We can supply 3kVA heater transformers and 110v extension leads - they are available to hire as an additional items before checkout. You can use the EC55 indirect space heater in conjunction with a safety thermostat, exhaust hoses, ducting for directing the heat output, and a 2-way splitter for dividing the output between separate spaces.
